The commercial intersection and entertainment district glows all year round with huge billboards, shop fronts and displays. If you want to witness something truly spectacular, visit at New Year when you will be able to see the ball drop, a renowned event in which a large illuminated ball drops to signalise the start of the New Year.

This annual festival is held yearly in Berlin and is a stunning example of the beauty and versatility of light. The Eiffel Tower

The city of love is hailed the world over as being a cornerstone of art and culture and its most famous monument is of course the Eiffel tower. The sparkling lights that you see on the structure are superimposed over the golden lighting and are made up of 20,000 light bulbs which bring the landmark to life for five minutes every hour on the hour once the Tower has been lit up until 1 am.
