Tridonic LUX Control Digital Serial Interface Units and Light Sensors
New to BLT Direct is this range of high specification LUX Control lighting components from Tridonic that allow for bespoke lighting solutions which are not only extremely energy efficient but offer optimal functionality. Digital Series Interface Units convert analogue signals into DSI signals in 1-10 Volt control systems. The maximum number of DSI devices ranges from 50 to 100 depending on the unit. On/off switching is via a separate switch input.
The DSI Smart unit is an ambient light sensor and motion detector for constant lighting control. This unit is suitable for 4 or 25 DSI or DALI ballasts and features momentary-action switch input for on/off switching and dimming. All LUX Control units come with a 5 year guarantee.
This range of products has been designed with modern lighting systems in mind. The functions of a DSI lighting management system include simple programming of scenes and the option of common routing of the control line and mains power supply cabling in one duct. Digital transmission means no problems of interference and an identical dimming value for all the luminaires.
