What is better LED or fluorescent?
In terms of both energy efficiency and maintenance, LED lighting is most definitely better than fluorescent tubes. Depending on the brand, 5ft LED lights are usually a direct retrofit into old fittings, if not they only require some fairly straight forward rewiring for them to work before being installed. Not only this, but they are also easier to dispose of, as they do not contain any harmful chemicals that can damage the environment.
What are the differences between the brands of 5ft LED tubes available?
There are many different brands available for 5ft LED tube lights, this allows plenty of choice when it comes to selecting the correct colour for your installations. It also offers opportunity to select something that is more robust, such as a polycarbonate tube for locations that require a shatter resistant product or perhaps a glass tube for locations where high heat could cause the tubes to sag.
