What are daylight bulbs good for?

What white is daylight?

Which is brighter daylight or warm white bulbs?
Warm white bulbs produce a yellowish light which softens facial tones and creates a cosy, inviting atmosphere. Because warm white bulbs provide a softer light, they appear duller or not as vivid as daylight or cool white bulbs. Daylight white is the brightest colour temperature compared to different coloured bulbs of equivalent wattage. Are daylight bulbs the same as cool white?

Cool white light emits a neutral white, crisp light used in clinical areas such as hospitals, dentists, and schools. Daylight white was created to replicate the effects of natural daylight and, for this reason, has a blueish tint. Daylight white also has benefits not given by cool white lights, such as concentration improvement, reduced eye strain, and a more accurate assessment of colours and shapes.
