This Mains Voltage MR16 reflector lamp is rated at 50 Watts and features a 20 Degree Wide Beam. This high intensity light source does not require a transformer as it operates at 240 volts. The MR16 Halogen Dichroic is suited to a variety of applications that require directional lighting, such as track lighting, recessed ceiling lights, desk lamps, pendant fixtures, landscape lighting, retail display lighting. This lamp has a 2000 hour lamp life, twice that of an incandescent bulb.

Bought this (2 of these) as a replacement for a 12V halogen after removing the transformer. The bulb is so dim, it is dimmer than both my 50W GU10s and even 35W GU10s. Nothing to fault BLT as the order and resulting return were dealt with both efficiently and professionally - just an under-performing product.
